Description
I'm downsizing, so I'm selling off some of my music memorabilia. This item consists of memorabilia from the band Rush. Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart joined forces to create some of the best progressive music ever made. In addition to their studio recordings, they always put on a great live show. Even with the complexities of the songs (and Geddy needing to juggle keys, bass and Taurus pedals), they always managed to pull it off.For every tour, they published a tour guide booklet with lots of interesting info, pictures, and more. I collected them over the years, as well as other items that I've put together for this item which includes:
Tour programs
from Moving Pictures, Power Windows, Hold Your Fire, Presto and Counterparts. They have all been stored in plastic sleeves, next to the matching LPs. They are all in excellent shape. My favorite part of their tour booklets are the pages showing details on what gear they use. It is interesting to see how their rigs evolved over the years!
The book
Rush - Success Under Pressure
by Steve Gett (1984, softcover). The book discusses the band's history and recording career. It too is stored in a plastic sleeve, and is in excellent shape.
Press Kit
from 1981 tour, including band photo, article on the making of the album, and backstage pass
It can all be yours for just the price of your winning bid...
